At Maple Bear Kindergarten Sofia, we provide a bilingual (Bulgarian and Canadian) comprehensive preschool education program for children aged 2 to 7 years. Our Canadian methodology supports each stage of a child’s development, fostering academic, social, emotional, and physical growth in a nurturing environment.
By the time our students graduate, they are confident, independent, and well-prepared to continue their educational journey at Maple Bear Primary and High School, as well as at Bulgarian or international schools worldwide.

Our Toddler program provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where young children begin to explore the world around them. Through play, movement, music, and sensory experiences, children develop early language, social, and motor skills while building confidence and independence.
Age: 2-3
In Nursery, children are encouraged to discover, create, and interact with their peers through structured play and guided learning experiences. The program supports language development, curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational cognitive skills.
Age: 3-4
The Junior Kindergarten program fosters greater independence and a love of learning. Children engage in inquiry-based activities that strengthen literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration while developing essential school readiness skills.
Age: 4-5
Senior Kindergarten builds a strong academic and social foundation through an engaging, child-centered curriculum. Students develop confidence in reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, and communication, preparing them for a successful transition to primary education.
Age: 5-6
Grade 0 serves as a bridge between kindergarten and primary school. The program focuses on strengthening academic skills, independence, responsibility, and learning habits, ensuring children are fully prepared and confident to begin their formal school journey in Grade 1.
